May is the month of our Holy Mother Mary. It is also the month in which we celebrate all of our mothers. In prayerful commitment during this special month, our 4th-8th grade student rosary group will meet every Wednesday during their lunch recess time to pray the rosary. We will meet promptly in the Church at 12:30 PM.

Students in grades K-8 will have their final Reading and Math MAP tests of the year. The testing schedule will be released in the May 13th Wednesday Note. Please make sure your child is well-rested on his/her testing day. This information will help us assess student learning for the year and help us plan for next year!

Please join the Rutledge family and the St. Bernadette community in paying our final respects to our former school principal, Mr. Robert Rutledge. The service will be at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 5816 15th Ave NW, with a viewing at 10:30am, funeral Mass at 11am, immediately followed by a reception in the St. Alphonsus Family Center. Donations can be sent to one of two charities. Tibet is in a time of great need, and Bob was recently channeling donations through Medical Ambassadors' Nepal Recover Fund: http://www.medicalambassadors.org/index.html. In observance of Memorial Day, we will not have school on Monday, May 25th. School will resume again on Tuesday, May 26th. We will hold a Memorial Day Prayer Service at 2:10 PM on Tuesday in the Church. All are welcome to attend! Thank you to our 3rd and 6th grade students for leading this prayerful service.
