Level 1 King County Green School
St. Bernadette School was awarded Level 1 Green School status through the King County Green Schools Program for our recycling and waste reduction efforts. Thank you to our student green team, Mr. Jensen, Jenna Smith and Kelsi Franzen for helping us achieve this status! From Strength to Strength: A Strategic Plan for 21st Century Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of
On February 11th, Archbishop Sartain approved the strategic plan for strengthening the mission of Catholic schools, which was developed through a year-long process in 2013, with the assistance of ACE Consulting of Notre Dame. The plan, keyed to the four themes of our mission, contains 33 actions and 124 tasks. The plan is inspired by the importance and the great gift of our 74 Catholic schools! The Parents' Club officers will offer a parent information night to discuss the Parents' Club contract changes for next year. All parents seeking additional clarification will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the evening.
Calling all Kindergarten-6th grade moms! Please join Katie Stephens as she explains SuccessNet, our online Math resource that is tied to our enVision Common Core Math curriculum. We will have muffins and coffee available for all to enjoy!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Students will be allowed to wear free dress in exchange for $1.00 or 2 cans of food. Money collected will aid our sister school in Guatemala, San Jose Pacul, and food collected will go to our St. Vincent de Paul Conference to directly help local families in need. Students are encouraged to wear GREEN.
