Mrs. Tapic grew up in the Pacific Northwest and lives in Burien with her husband and their boys. Her oldest son graduated from St. Bernadette and now attends Kennedy Catholic High School. Her three younger sons attend the school. She has worked at St. Bernadette since 2019. She is excited to put her undergraduate degree from Highline College and Early Childhood Education certification, preschool through 2nd grade, to work! She will strive to challenge students to think creatively, work independently, and set high expectations for themselves. She also believes in creating a partnership with families to help students reach their potential.

Mrs. Tapic states, “It brings me so much joy to watch the students learn and grow throughout the school year. They make the school day so much brighter.” Mrs. Tapic is on the St. Bernadette Parent Club Board. When she isn’t working, she spends her time with her family and volunteers at school events when possible.

Fun fact: She has been teaching Zumba Fitness for 13 years!
