Saint Bernadette Parish School Jog-a-thon Instructions for Families

We are thrilled to invite you to participate in our annual Jog-a-thon, scheduled for Friday, September 20, 2024. This fun and healthy event is a great way for our students to stay active. To make your participation smooth and effective, please follow these instructions. Keep in mind if you do not want to fill out the pledges, this is a required fundraiser for the year and you will be charged up to $150.00 in your October billing through Finalsite for pledges not collected. Step 1: Pledge Types

• Flat Fee Donation: Alternatively, you can get flat fee donations. Have the person donating fill in the information on this form and gather the donation at that time.
• Per Lap Pledge: Your student can get pledges based on a certain amount of money for each lap they complete during the Jog-a-thon. For example, if you pledge $1 per lap and they run 20 laps, the donation will be $20.

Step 2: Payment Methods

We offer these convenient payment methods:

• Online: use this link to collect donations online.
• Cash: To pay in cash, please include the exact amount with your completed pledge form in an envelope. Make sure to write your student’s name, grade, and “Jog-a-thon Pledge” on the envelope.
• Check: To pay by check, please make it payable to “Saint Bernadette Parish School” and write “Jog-a-thon Pledge” in the memo line. Include the check with your completed pledge form in an envelope, and don’t forget to write your student’s name and grade on the envelope.
• Credit Card: We also accept credit card payments. Please follow the QR code on the form to make donations this way.

Step 3: Encourage Family and Friends to Pledge

We encourage families to reach out to their extended network of family members, friends, and neighbors to support their student’s participation in the Jog-a-thon. Share the excitement of this event and let them know that their pledges will directly contribute to our school’s success.

Step 4: Submit the Pledge Form and donations

Please return the completed pledge form and payment to your student’s teacher or the school office by September 25th. This will ensure that your student’s participation is recorded accurately, and your generous donation is properly processed. 

Prizes and Incentives:

Remember, there are exciting prizes and incentives for our students:

• Prizes will be given to students who run the most laps.
• Prizes will be given to students who raise the most money.

Your participation in the Jog-a-thon and your support through pledges or donations from family, friends, and neighbors are greatly appreciated. Together, we can make this year’s Jog-a-thon a huge success!
