    • Archdiocese Income Tax Fraud Information
It has recently come to our attention that some Archdiocesan employees and volunteers are victims of a national tax refund fraud. Victims’ social security numbers have been used in fraudulent tax returns for the calendar year 2013.

Please be assured that the Archdiocese of Seattle is taking appropriate steps to determine whether or not a breach of systems within the Archdiocese (including Parishes and Schools) or systems of their vendors has occurred or if there is some other source of the problem. Once this determination is made, they will immediately take appropriate action to address the situation. The Archdiocese has hired a forensic security firm, Stroz Friedberg, to assist in analyzing and repairing the affected systems and are working with the FBI and IRS to address the issue. In addition, the IRS has volunteered to be present at six regional gatherings throughout the Archdiocese of Seattle over the next two weeks.  Please see the link below for location, days and times.

For further information please go to the Archdiocese of Seattle website at www.seattlearchdiocese.org

    • Upcoming School Events
      • Feb 1 - Jun 12, 2014
Our Annual School Campaign is currently in progress. This time of year is a great chance to reflect on the many blessings that our children receive as members of St. Bernadette School and Parish community. Throughout the 54 years of existence, our school has provided an exceptional learning environment rooted in a true Catholic tradition. This is a school permeated by a family atmosphere, caring for both the educational and spiritual needs of our students. The success of our school has been enabled, in large part, by your direct participation in the events and campaigns that financially support the school. Together we are building an investment in the children who will be the future leaders of our Church and community!

Our second grade students will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion at each of the Masses on this weekend. As you join God's family on your First Communion day, may Jesus Christ, Our Savior, bless you on your way. And may the light that guides you, Fall from heaven above, as you walk each day with Him and enjoy His Holy love. May He who loves and guides us all and listens when we pray, bless you on your Communion Day!
