St. Bernadette Parish participates in the Archdiocese of Seattle’s Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) athletic program.
CYO Athletics has cancelled the 2020 spring sports season, based on the latest recommendation from the CDC to limit events and activities for the next eight weeks. This includes 5-8 Baseball, 4-8 Track and Field, 3rd Grade Girls Basketball, and Coed HS Volleyball.
CYO Athletics exists to provide opportunities for youth to develop strong moral character, positive self-worth, interpersonal competence, and a commitment to caring for others and their community through activities of a social, educational, and recreational nature based on Christian principles. Students play against other Catholic and private schools in the greater Seattle area in a variety of sports. Practices and games take place outside of school hours.
St. Bernadette CYO Athletics offers athletic teams for students in grades K-8. Sports include Soccer, Cross-Country, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, and Track & Field. Also available are High School basketball for grades 9-12 and Adult Softball age 21 & over. The only requirement for participation in CYO Athletics is for participants’ families to be registered with St. Bernadette Parish.
