How does your donation benefit our students? Good question! Since 2018 we have accomplished the following thanks to many generous donors.
Parent Club fundraising goes toward School operations including teacher salaries and maintaining an affordable tuition.
Every student has a Chromebook for school work which makes communication, turning in assignments – papers and presentations – efficient. Using Chromebooks provides each student with the tools and skills needed to enter high school knowing how to collaborate, access information, and demonstrate skills. Chromebooks allow students and teachers full access to Fulcrum-funded Social Studies and Religion curriculum adopted for the 2021-22 school year.
Thanks to the Fulcrum Foundation, the Howe Foundation and 53 individual donors who made it possible to adopt Chromebooks for our students!
All classrooms have Promethean Boards – state of the art teaching and learning tools – which enhance the learning process. They are fast, efficient, easy to use and allow teachers and students access to! We are thrilled to have these powerful tools at our fingertips and delighted to have interactive boards easily seen and used by our students.
Thanks to the Lea Foundation, Annual Fund Donors, and the individuals who generously funded these amazing learning tools!
Students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade enjoy learning science with STEMscopes. This hands-on, interactive curriculum brings science alive in the classrooms and out around campus. Since the curriculum is accessible on-line, our teachers and students kept learning effectively and efficiently during the COVID school closure.
Thanks to the Lea Foundation for generously funding this curriculum.
All students, PS – 8, benefit from a renovation of our library, science lab, music room, and playground thanks to the $500,000.00 school renovation project in 2018 sponsored and funded by our friends at NAIOP. We will forever be grateful for their belief in and support of our learning community.
Thanks to NAIOP Washington for beautifying our campus and updating classrooms!
Generous annual gifts from the Knights of Columbus have allowed us to extend financial aid to many qualified families who seek Catholic education. Their amazing gifts have helped us increase enrollment and serve families who need help with tuition. Our families are grateful for their assistance!
We are blessed to benefit from the generous support of the Knights of Columbus.
Thanks to Fulcrum Early Childhood Education Grants, our youngest students enjoy new puzzles and manipulatives, safely riding trikes, and playing with hoops on the playground. Practice of fine and gross motor skills and personal safely are tremendously important for our younger students’ future success and learning. The personification of JOY is watching our young students ride their tricycles around the playground!
Gifts to the Annual Fund bridge the gap between tuition revenues and the actual cost of educating each student – a difference of $1,745.00 per student. Last year we received 112 gifts ranging in size from $5.00 to $10,000.00. The average gift is $236.00. We depend on the Annual Fund to meet the annual school budget which includes acquisition of new learning materials, teacher salaries, and financial aid.
