Ms. Gretchen Seibel is excited to be a part of the St. Bernadette community! A Michigan-native, Ms. Seibel attended DePaul University in Chicago, IL studying Elementary Education, Language Arts and Italian. After graduating from DePaul, Ms. Seibel spent the 2014-2015 school year teaching high school English in Milan, Italy. While she loved the language, the food and traveling, she returned to the US and joined the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education (PACE) Program, a teaching Master’s program. She completed two years teaching in 3rd and 4th grade classrooms in Red Bluff and Redding, California. In August 2017, Ms. Seibel graduated with a Masters in Education from the University of Portland, with an ESOL endorsement. Ms. Seibel loves to use her experiences and all she’s learned through her travels and classes to help her students learn more about the world. She encourages her students to do more every day, presenting them with challenges that allow them to be successful in and out of the classroom. When she isn’t in the classroom, Ms. Seibel loves to travel and explore new areas, go hiking and spend time outdoors, play board games with family and friends or read a good book!
