Mrs. Hoffman is excited to teach kindergarten. She has worked for St Bernadette as a reading and math interventionist for six years and at the Highline School District for over nine years in pre-school through high school. Working with a range of ages, grade levels and subjects gives her a unique perspective on what students need to learn at each grade to help them in the next grade and beyond.  She is encouraging and enjoys helping students enjoy intellectual growth. She was raised in South Seattle area. She says, “Working with a range of students and wonderful St. Bernadette staff is a joy. Collaborating with teachers to help each student succeed is truly a blessing.”

A graduate of the Highline School District, she continued her education through Green River and Highline Community College and earned a double degree in Early Education and Elementary Education from Central Washington University. Mrs. Hoffman has also received her master’s in Elementary Mathematics from WGU and middle school mathematics endorsement.

She loves her two energetic daughters, the outdoors, reading good books, gardening, helping others, and watching TV.
