Ms. Laura Rodriguez was born and raised in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. She has lived in Washington for over 20 years. Ms. Laura was raised in a Catholic family which encouraged her to be a teacher in a Catholic school. She holds a degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Public Sector Audit from the Autonomous University of Nayarit.

She cherishes speaking both English and Spanish and has discovered a love for teaching, allowing her to put her two different talents together as a career. She has  four children: two sons who attend St. Bernadette Parish School, one son attends Kennedy Catholic, and a daughter who is out of school. She has been a private Spanish teacher and has worked at St. Bernadette Parish School for three years in Preschool and Extended Day. In her free time Ms. Laura loves spending time with her family, hiking, camping, and painting.
