I am excited to be joining St. Bernadette School as the 6th grade homeroom teacher and middle school science and social studies teacher. I recently graduated from Seattle University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with a specialization in Elementary Education and will be continuing my education at Seattle University through the Catholic School Teacher Corps Masters of Transformational Teaching and Learning (MTTL) program. I was born and raised in the Seattle area and am proud of my Ethiopian heritage. During middle school, I lived in Ethiopia for two years, where I learned Amharic and got to experience life and education in a different country. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching TV, and spending time with my cats. I am looking forward to getting to know the students and families at St. Bernadette and becoming part of the school community.
