Volunteer Requirements
All St. Bernadette School volunteers are required to have a background check on file with the school and must complete a Safe Environment class through the Seattle Archdiocese.
Safe Environment classes are held at various locations during the year, and a CLASS LIST is on the VIRTUS website.

First Time Volunteers
Go to VIRTUS Online
Click “First Time Registrant” – green button on left.
Choose between Beginning the Registration or View a List of Sessions.
Select Seattle, WA (Archdiocese) from the Organization drop-down list.
Create a User ID and password
Complete registration information: your name, contact information, etc.
Select primary place where you volunteer: St. Bernadette Parish School
Answer questions regarding volunteer responsibilities.
Submit the form.
A prompt will appear to register for a class.
Registration for people with a Virtus account
Go to VIRTUS Online
On left upper corner, enter login information, or click “Need Login Information?”
Once logged in, you will see a summary of classes attended, OR classes needed, OR a prompt to renew background check.

If you want to drive for a field trip, the School Office must have your current Driver Insurance Form on file. This is renewed annually.
